The Supervisory Boards are the advising organs of ECU’92. They advice the Executive Board of ECU’92 about short-term matters while making sure that the long-term policy of ECU’92 is maintained and implemented
What does the Advisory Board do?
We both advise and monitor the Executive Board as well as support them through our Buddy system. We help them design policy and track their progress throughout the year, where our focus lies on the long term perspective and strategic issues. For example, rather than discussing one event such as a Ski trip, we would ask the Executive Board to reflect on all the trips ECU organises and what value they bring for the members. Other topics that could arise at meetings with the Board are the relations with important ECU stakeholders, such as USE, business partners or alumni. This year, we have helped the Board with designing the new Strategic Plan, which consists of 4 focus points the association will have in the upcoming 5 years.
The Advisory Board (AB) is looking for new members. This supervisory board consists of a mix of students and alumni who have experience within associations (ECU’92 or other associations).

What does the Treasury Board do?
The Treasury Board both advises and monitors the Executive Board on financial matters. We help them design (financial) policy and track their progress throughout the year, where our focus lies on the long term perspective and strategic issues. Other topics that could arise at meetings with the Board are the long term finances of ECU’92 as well as consultancy on financial decision-making. This year, we have helped the Board with designing the new Financial Strategic Plan, which consists of the long-term financial policy the association will have in the upcoming 5 years.
