NS: During the NS workshop we will challenge you to make an educated financial decision about revising our existing trains of investing in new a new serie of trains. You are external financial advisors and will pitch your strategy to our management at the end of the case. Important things to take into consideration are sustainability, return of investment, customer comfort and extra facilitities to maximize growth and revenues.
KPMG: KPMG is active in two different sectors: audit and consultancy. Within consultancy there are a lot of branches: Deals, Technology, Risk & Regulatory, Strategy & Operations and Assurance. Auditing shows you different facets of a client’s firm, from HR and supply chain to finance and sales. Within both of these sectors the end goal is to sell an advise or an audit. The way to achieve this is through great interaction between you and your clients and you and your colleagues. Therefore the workshop will focus on storytelling and communication skills. They will also address the different options for you to start at KMPG after your studies, whether that is in auditing, consultancy or both.
Trifinance: On the Career Day, TriFinance will provide you a workshop on consultancy. Their consultants work for the big financial firms in the Netherlands, in several economic sectors such as financial institutions, (industrial) corporations and the public sector. Their areas of expertise are risk management, compliance and business- and data analyses. NBA: (Koninklijke Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants – The Royal Netherlands Institute of Chartered Accountants). The NBA is the professional body for accountants in the Netherlands. FrieslandCampina: FrieslandCampina produces and sells consumer products such as dairy-based beverages, infant nutrition, cheese and desserts in many European countries, in Asia and in Africa via its own subsidiaries. Dairy products are also exported worldwide from the Netherlands. In addition, products are supplied to professional customers, including cream and butter products to bakeries and catering companies in West Europe. This goal can be reached through efficient consultancy and training people. They want to implement self-service Business Intelligence.
